The services Healing Waters provides the homeless are made possible by the generosity of our donors. Donated goods are distributed directly to the homeless. Donated money is used to buy goods and supplies and pay for the operation of the showers.
Thank you, Fr. Dominic Vu and The City of God, for encouraging us to implement Christ's mandate to love and care for the homeless and the marginalized by providing the seed money to implement our vision.
Because of our donors Healing Waters has been able to make a difference in the community and the lives of those we serve. A special thanks to Father Dennis Legaspi and St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Community in Beaumont and Banning, notably, the Knights of Columbus, Families in Christ Jesus Christ (F.C.J.C.), the Filipino, Hispanic and Youth Ministries, and Ladies Guild. Our supporters include Pastor Marc Stamper and Freedom In Christ Church; Pastor Marshall Jones and Set Free Church, Banning; Fellowship Church, Beaumont; Rev. Damon Allen and First Missionary Baptist Church, Banning; Rev. Bill Dunn and St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Beaumont; Rev. Scott Mason and Beaumont Presbyterian Church; San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital; Carol's Kitchen; Table of Plenty; local communities and organizations, family and friends.
Healing Waters sorts, counts, catalogs, and acknowledges all donations.
Since 2019, the Knights of Columbus have donated 419 new winter jackets of all sizes for distribution to the homeless. Thanks to them and other winter wear donations, our homeless guests are able to stay warm throughout the winter months.
Special needs for seasonal items, blankets, tarps, beanies, gloves, tents, backpacks, and personal needs are often requested through local communities and Churches. F.C.J.C., San Gorgonio Hospital, and Sun Lakes residents, are frequent donors.
